From the academic year 2077/78 BS new curriculum has been in act. Since plus two educations are considered as secondary level , student has to study 6 different subject form the list of compulsory and optional subjects.

Subject List of new curriculum

New curriculum consist of compulsory and optional subjects. Though there are lots of subjects choice in official curriculum subject list, here we have included only those subjects which are studied in almost all the plus two colleges of Nepal. Compulsory Subjects

1. Nepali 
2. English
3. Social study and life skill OR mathematics

Optional Subjects

1. Optional I → Physics / Accounting
2. Optional II → Biology / Business studies
3. Optional III → Chemistry / Economics
4. Optional IV → Maths / Business Maths / Computer Science

Subjects for Management students

Students wiling to study management can choose Nepali, English and Social Study in compulsory section. In Optional students will choose Account, Economics and Business Studies OR Computer Science OR Business Mathematics.
[Note: Business Mathematics can be offered by school as an extra subject as per requirement.]

Subjects for Science students

In Science if students are willing to join medical group i.e. (aspire to be doctor, nurse, surgeon) can choose Nepali, English and Social Study in compulsory section.  In optional students can choose Physics, Biology and Chemistry.

In Science if students are willing to join physical group i.e. (aspire to be engineer, technical education) can choose Nepali, English and Mathematics in compulsory section.  In optional students can choose Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science.
